Hi, Just start to use the VOX player, it's fine when playback lossless files with english titles, however, when playback Chinese songs or Japanese song, the title can't be displayed correctly. Please advise how to solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but it's mostly new MacOS's fault...
The only solution is to quit the VOX app and run this command in terminal:
defaults write com.coppertino.Vox AppleLanguages -array ja en

I tried but it still can't display the title correctly no matter in Chinese
or Japanese and the menu bar everything now is in Japanese that I can't
The problem is even I uninstall the VOX and install again it still display
the Japanese language in menu bar and settings. How can get my menu bar and
everything back in english instead? Thanks!

    Yours Sincercely

    Hi Daniel,
    Sorry for that...
This command should revert it back as it was before.

defaults remove com.coppertino.Vox AppleLanguages -array ja en

Please specify your OS and VOX app versions. Thank you!

I got the same problem. And when I enabled the "Auto-charset detection" on preferences, the Chinese becomes like this, жэ╫эбв - к╣въ╬мвъ.
    OS version: Sierra 10.12.3
    VOX version: 2.8.22 (Build 2899.22)
