Scripting the app

How can I create playlists and add collections to the app. by writing some code?

I have poked around in the script editor, and can't find any primitives for implementing these capabilities. Is there another way to do this by say inserting values in a file or database that is used by Vox to maintain the playlists and collections?

I don't think this API is provided.

Though, it is possible to perform some actions like play/pause, rewind, next song etc. using apple script.
