Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with DSD playback.
Here are the details of my system and problem.

Software & Hardware
I am using Vox for Mac version 2.8.4 (Build 2840.7)
OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6
MacBook Pro Retina 15" Late 2013
2.6GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB Ram

PROBLEM
When playing DSD Albums and Files the first song plays at 88.2 kHz but the second song plays at 44.1 kHz. I am using DSD64 and DSD128 ( .dsf & .dff ) files. I have unchecked synchronize sample rate with player in preferences. This was suggested as a fix but does not solve the issue.

Vox version 2.7.x did not have this problem.
OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 did not have this problem.

This appears to be a regression with all 2.8.x versions of Vox running on El Capitan.

Thanks for the help and keep up the good work!

Cheers,

Peter

    Hi,

I have uploaded a DSD .dsf file to the dropmefiles.com website.
The Vox player incorrectly reports the file sample rate as 2822 kbps when it should be 5645 kbps.
    I am running Vox version 2.8.24 (build 2899.24) on OS X 10.11.6

Earlier versions of the Vox player 2.8.4 (Build 2840.7) displayed the incorrect frequency rate and incorrect sample rate.

Thank you for making a great audio player.

    Cheers,

    Peter
