VOX opens when authorising Spotify

A couple of ios apps like 22tracks need you to log in with your spotify account, but when pressing the button, vox opens up. Any suggestions to circumvent this?

Thanks for using our app!
We are using standard Spotify API. Please contact support of the app which opens VOX instead of opening .... something else. The problem is on their side.
