Why do the cover art go grey and unplayable?
Im not streaming any music.. it is all on my phone and alway listenable via iTunes.
Surly music on the device shouldnt need a internet connection all the time to be playable.?.? Or am i missing somthing??

Can You take a screenshot? The only explanation is - they are not
local files. You can check it easily: Just disable this to toggles
in overflow menu and keep LOOP toggle enabled.
Enable " LOOP"
Disable "iTunes"
Disable "File sharing items"
You can't see any local file after that. Only streaming.
Im sorry my first email wasn't clear.
I don't require the streaming service. I couldn't stand the itunes layout and that iTunes always notifying me that Its showing only files on phone so I decided to use Vox.
I enabled itunes and disabled the rest in vox.
It seemed that every-time my mobile signal dropped out the cover art would turn grey.
Strange??
