Sample Rate Converter and Upsampling options

#1

I have been using VOX for over a week now. I have to say I love the elegant user interface. However, there are a few options that are clearly missing in the setting window; including:

1- Sample Rate Converter (SRC): in particularly allowing user to choose iZotop 64-bit converter.
2- Force Upsampling.
3- Audio Signal Polarity.

I can't stress how important these options are for audiophile users. I hope the development team plain to add these options in the near future.

Thank You for Your comments.

We already have 2) and 3) in our todo list, 1) - is it a free API to add? Would be interested of where I can find a source core of this converter to add to Vox.

Feel free to contact us again anytime should any further questions arise.

The main website is https://www.izotope.com ; Audirvana Plus, which is my main player, provides this SRC out of the box. From my personal experience, I can confirm that izotope makes a difference for the people with a good DAC/AMP and pair of headphones. However it might not be that noticeable for the majority of users.

Thank you for support.

I must say that VOX's internal resampling solution is not trivial one too, been used in many professional products as well.

But as I said, we are open to suggestions and I will estimate what and how can be done to extend Vox's re-sampling algorithms arsenal.

Thank You for Your vision.

This website http://src.infinitewave.ca might be handy. It allows you to compare different SRC algorithms.

I wish the development team all the best of luck;
