I live in a rural area and have intermittant access to WIFI. I prefer to manage my music on the device. For instance, my master music library is on my desktop machine, and I am selective about what gets loaded onto iphone, ipod, mostly because they are smaller storage areas.
also, I cant afford the cellular data to stream content when traveling. I want the music ON THE DEVICE.

It's easy to get Your music into Vox - You can do it via iTunes
(for iTunes - compatible files), or through iTunes File Sharing for
all file formats.

it seems to have imported my music library. Now I want to move music manually on and off the iphone. How do I do that?
You can do that via iTunes File Sharing or via Loop - you can just choose which option suits your better.
